About Joe Lam

Joe Lam is an award-winning filmmaker and his mission is to inspire, uplift, and awaken the human spirit through storytelling. Joe has produced over 200 films, music videos, commercials, and documentaries. Past clients include American Red Cross, The United Way, Rotary Club, California Highway Patrol, American Film Market, and People's Choice Awards to name a few. 

He's garnered several awards at film festivals across the U.S. for his films, documentaries, and music videos. In 2019, his latest film "Our Story" won the award for Best Romantic Comedy at Top Shorts and his Feature Screenplay "Fugitive Zero" won Best Thriller Screenplay at Los Angeles Film Fest. He is currently in post-production on his first feature documentary film "The Hospital Cure", which focuses on transforming rural healthcare in middle America. 

Joe also produced the award-winning documentary film "Project TRIUMPH" for Rotary Club, which helped fundraise over $120,000 for a non-profit leadership program involving Arab & Jewish teenagers from Israel. He's produced music videos for award-winning LA bands such as Joe Hurt Band (Winner of Single of the Year - LA Music Awards, 2009), Justin Lanning (Winner of Spiritual Single of the Year -  LA Music Awards, 2011) and other indie artists. 

Joe earned a BFA in Motion Pictures & Television - Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA
