Joe Lam is an award-winning filmmaker and his mission is to inspire, uplift, and awaken the human spirit through storytelling. Joe has produced over 200 films, music videos, commercials, and documentaries. 

Joe has garnered over 33 awards at film festivals worldwide. In 2019, his film Our Story won the award for Best Romantic Comedy at Top Shorts and in 2020, his latest film Fugitive Zero has won 25 awards and counting.

Joe also produced the award-winning documentary film Project TRIUMPH for Rotary Club, which helped fundraise over $120,000 for a non-profit leadership program involving Arab & Jewish teenagers from Israel. His latest documentary movie The Hospital Cure involved rural hospitals that went through a cultural transformation shift. He's produced music videos for award-winning LA bands such as Joe Hurt Band (Winner of Single of the Year - LA Music Awards), Justin Lanning (Winner of Spiritual Single of the Year -  LA Music Awards), and other indie artists. His past corporate clients include American Red Cross, The United Way, Rotary Club, California Highway Patrol, American Film Market, and People's Choice Awards. 

Joe also wrote the book Filmmaking Success: Making the Teen Comedy. He earned a BFA in Motion Pictures & Television - Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA.
